About Michael

Michael Bilotta is a Central Massachusetts-based musician, bassist, guitarist, instructor, and visual artist. His solo acoustic performances combine familiar songs, tasteful musicianship, and a relaxed, audience-aware approach suited for restaurants, breweries, private events, cocktail hours, and small venues.

A longtime bassist and multi-instrumentalist, Michael brings a strong rhythmic foundation to his acoustic performances. His background in bass, guitar, theory, ear training, and music instruction gives his live sets a musical depth that goes beyond simply playing songs. He approaches each performance with attention to groove, tone, feel, and the overall atmosphere of the room.

Michael’s repertoire draws from classic pop, rock, soul, funk, acoustic favorites, and audience-friendly covers. Sets can be shaped for background listening, casual dining rooms, lively social events, or more focused listening environments.

In addition to live performance, Michael teaches music and creates bass-focused content through MichaelsBassCamp, his YouTube channel dedicated to bass playing, lessons, grooves, covers, and musician-focused ideas.
